If you haven’t recently celebrated any of your loved ones, I would suggest that is exactly what you do before day’s end. Why? Well, for starters, this fleeting life might be reason enough, but I’d say there are plenty among us worthy of streamers and praise and song with dance as an easy flourish.

I will start off in joyous celebration of two birthday twins. Uncle and nephew born under the sign of Virgo who share a special day this week: it is who they are that I celebrate. Of course, there is much time for the little one to show his own divine self, however, he has already revealed a sweet disposition. As for his Funcle, well, to know that guy is to love him: I have yet to find anyone who would dispute that fact. He’s a true summer peach, a misty forest, a fireball and a velvet sunset rolled into one delight.

Jack is on the eve of one, and by my conservative estimate, I have nearly five hundred photos and videos of him: in the bath, on a swing, eating, sleeping, crawling, smiling, and every photo makes me very happy. Choosing one to share is not an easy task, but this singular video captures all the sparkle this little guy brings, plus you hear the genuine love of his mother, who I so admire. Watch once and I guarantee a big love.

And then there is my boy turned man. Although Kyrie may make it look easy, don’t be fooled, he’s had a mountain of adversity. You’d be hard pressed to know that because he takes what comes in stride. He’s a straight-out-love-the-world guy who just puts everyone at ease. When you get a day with him it is a diamond day for sure.

My two delightful birthday twins are both West Coast guys, who will celebrate poolside together. Even though I will be way Eastside, I’ll joyously and loudly sing their praises.
