In honor of Mother’s Day, I decided to repost an experience I wrote about of one day with my mother. It was only one day out of the nearly 60 years I had with her, but, as I wrote in the post, “Living was just better that day and most any day with this mother of mine completely bent on living.” She really did love life, marveling at the beautiful sights and coping with the tough stuff too, and for all she showed me and showered on me, I am grateful to call her mine.
A heartfelt and touching tribute that beautifully honors a mother’s love for life and the lasting impact she leaves behind. The reflection captures how even an ordinary day can become unforgettable when shared with someone who embraces life with joy, strength, and gratitude. Full of warmth, remembrance, and deep appreciation.
