Granted, the state of Vermont has only 626,630 people, but to be in the top three for “Best Dressed Woman” Seven Daysies is an enormous thrill. In fact, I’m already celebrating. With your vote, however, I would have even more reason to rejoice!
I believe Fashion is Art. One step closer to costume than ready-wear, I mix eras and trends, fabrics and construction, to create my unique approach. Being stylish has nothing to do with labels or designers or seasons but breaks boundaries and starts anew each morning. Love the look you create and you will gain attitude and confidence. Dig into the back of your closet, put together something that makes you smile, and start your own craze.
“Fashion is not something that exists in dresses only. Fashion is in the sky, in the street, fashion has to do with ideas, the way we live, what is happening.”
― Coco Chanel
Want to help me get to the winners’ celebration? Please consider voting @SevenDays by June 30th!
Until then, I’ll be enjoying the gorgeous Vermont sky and refreshing lake water, while dreaming of tomorrow’s look…

What a delightful “ninecentgirl”!!!! You know we do rush around in America….the theory is that if you are working,no harm can be done…..but look at the Europeans…..everywhere you go in Europe, there are coffee houses, tea rooms, little shops devoted to chat and places to plunk…..Man must have that……When last month, visiting Edinborough,Scotland,I chanced upon a little tea room…or luncheonette…..and it was in there,on a well used small table that the Harry Potter books were scribbled out…long hand…..I ask you!!!! A spot to write,or think or ruminate. Can we get a lesson from that and encourage our young to seek those spots out? And our old…like me……
