I, too, joined WordPress in 2010 and have written weekly since Day 1. For the first decade I wrote every Mon-Wed-Fri. However, like you have expressed blogging has changed.
Opinions in general used to be optional and often viewed as rightful (insightful) differences– today it is anything but and very dangerous.
